Decolonizing Time: Centering the R.E.S.T. Recipe
with Ixchel Lunar
Monday, November 14, 2022
12:00pm - 1:00pm ET / 9:00am - 10:00am PT
Virtual Event (via Zoom)
Busy is a state of disconnection, depletion, disrepair.
One of the most frequent concerns Ixchel Lunar (they/we/she) receives from clients is around the experience of Time scarcity. Because our Time has been:
stolen
divided + perfected
commodified
outsourced
Reclaiming our Time includes a perceptual and haptic shift (embodied knowing) in our relationship with Time and ourselves. It all comes down to what we do with our Time. And to turn down the frenetic pace, we can turn to Flow, Pleasure, and Rest to return to our unique pace and rhythms.
In this workshop, Ixchel Lunar will discuss how we can:
Decolonize Time
Colonial and Indigenous Time
How Time is systematically used against us
Liberate Your Flow
Flow Cycle + Activators
Create Conditions for Flow
Dream in the Wild
How to thrive with a planet in transition
The R.E.S.T. Recipe (Relaxing, Expanding, Stress-releasing, Transmuting)
By the end of this workshop, you'll experience:
✅ A Shift in Relationship to Time
✅ Rest to Clear Brain Drain
✅ Expanding Your Capacity to Vision
By completing this workshop, you may experience a paradigm shift in how you relate to Time, to mend and befriend Time. Ground the (un)learning of ruthless systems of brutal productivity through relating with Time. Getting relational deprograms the “dominance over” mindset, creating space for our senses, so we actually sense what our needs are.
Rest is radical resistance.
